In place of sending out politically correct "Seasons Greetings" we make an annual charity donation.

Christmas 2006
This year we are making a donation to the Furaha School school in Kenya. They have found themselves dealing with an increasing number of AIDS related orphans and the impact of global climate change.

We chose this school after hearing about it from a teacher friend. Wendy Williams works as a full time teacher at Truro High School in the UK. Over the last few years she has worked tirelessly to help raise money for the school in Kenya and has made several trips to the school so that she has first hand experience of the issues.

With global warming, Kenya has longer periods of no rain and then heavy rainfall which has caused a lot of damage to the buildings and other school infrastructure.

  • The classroom in the picture was washed away by recent heavy rainfall leading to flooding etc.

We believe that the Embado structure of mostly home working and then travel to most client and other meetings being by train and other public transport options improves our carbon footprint when compared to our historical central London office structure.
